Visit mini Gobi desert Elsen tasarkhai and ride a camel in the steppe. Relax in the mountain hot spring and visit a lake in the steppe. Visit nomadic family. It is the central part of different landscapes visiting tour.
Day 1: Elsen tasarhai and camel ride nomadic family visit
Early in the morning, driver and guide will pick you up from your accommodation. We will drive to Elsen tasarhai mini sand dunes for 280 km. On the way, we will have lunch in a local canteen. After lunch, we will drive further to sand dunes. When we reach the dune, we will hike through. It is a good place to take photo. The granite rock mountain appears just north side of the dunes. Beside the dune, there is a small lake which enables to live nomadic families around. The free-grazing animals and the beautiful combination of the green part, sand dunes, lake and mountains make this place attractive. After a hike, we will ride a camel an hour. And visit camel herder family. And drive to our staying place the teepee shaped camp in the rocky mountain valley.
Day 2: Tsenher hot spring
After breakfast, we will drive to Tsenher hot spring for 200 km. We will arrive at the lunchtime at the camp. The hot spring is 86 Celsium from underground. The Tourist camps have their swimming pool in a fence. You can relax in the pool from 7 – 10 PM. Optional hike around the stream of hot spring.
Day 3: Erdene zuu and Ugii lake
Morning, we will drive to Erdene zuu Buddhist monastery. After visiting the monastery, drive to Ugii Lake. You can hike through the shore of the lake and optional fishing and kayaking. Have lunch in a local restaurant. Stay in tourist camp.
Day 4: Drive to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, drive to Ulaanbaatar. On the way, we will have lunch.
